Hi, my name is Martha. For the past 10 years, I’ve been immersed in the skincare world—learning, testing, and searching for products that leave my skin feeling nourished. When I was young, someone told me, “You only have one skin—take care of it.” That advice has stayed with me.
After working in skincare and trying many products, I wanted an everyday routine built around nourishing ingredients and textures I loved. That is how Field & Sage began.
Why we chose tallow
Canadian grass-fed tallow is at the heart of our face balms and body lotions. We carefully purify it to remove its natural odor, then blend it with ingredients chosen for each formula.

Small batches. Three ways to care.
- Whipped Tallow Face Balm: a concentrated, water-free blend of tallow, jojoba oil and vitamin E. Choose from four scented options or unscented, with no added essential oils.
- Tallow Body Lotion: a silky, water-based lotion with tallow and jojoba oil, available in Tahitian Vanilla and Vanilla Orange.
- Lip Balm: everyday care made with shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax, available in Peppermint and Butter Cream Frosting. Our lip balms do not contain tallow.
